This section contains the results of the CQ 160 Meter World-Wide CW contests I have participated in over the past several years. It is a work in progress so be patient with its construction. I hope that we have worked each other in some of these contests and I look forward to working you again. Maybe one of these days we can have an eyeball QSO!

Single-Op
I was using a temporary antenna and it did not load up well at all. It was difficult to make contacts and I called it quits after struggling. The state-side stations covered up the DX and I was only able to work 6 DX countries. I have a 160 meter antenna that I am planning on putting up as a sloper and then I will add a second one so maybe next year my score will be greatly improved. There is always improvements we can be making, especially in antennas!

2005 CQ 160 Meter World-Wide CW Contest
January 29-30, 2005
Single-Op
I worked all weekend because of some issues at the office and I did not get to operate much of the contest. I ended up doing a little S&P and made 137 contacts. I did manage to work 4 new countries on 160, plus several new states. The state-side QRM made it difficult to hear Europe, even though S52O was very strong and easy to work from here. Europe was much easier to work after the contest was over. I had fun and I hope that I was able to give some folks a multiplier.
